Why do we like this?

I can't believe that this track hasn't been covered on Indie Shuffle yet (c'mon guys!).

I've been a fan of SG Lewis for a while now. Based in Liverpool, UK, the producer has been turning significant heads, most recently remixing Disclosure's "Magnets" featuring Lorde.

"Silence" is the oldest track on his SoundCloud, and one of my absolute favorites. Rippling with warm, spacious production, crisp beats, and Josh Barry's soulful voice (that English twangg), the elements combine to create a simmering, smooth track, resplendent with reverb laden piano melodies and melancholy lyrics.

Paris based Art of Shades also did a noteworthy rework of the track, which you should definitely check out. Looking forward to hearing more from SG Lewis in 2016!
