SEVDALIZA is an artist who enthralls me with every track she releases, and "Amandine Insensible" is no exception. Released as part of her much anticipated Children of Silk EP, it completely captivates with her philosophical themes, confronting visuals, and artistry.
With a genre that is quite hard to pin down, her music feels as though it is created not to be enjoyed, but rather to question, challenge, and create discomfort by exploring subjects such as gender diversification and perception of emotion. Beautiful dissonance melds with strong beats, and all the while her melancholic visceral voice floats over beds of mechanical instrumentation, creating dynamics of chaos and order.
I'd like more of the same, thanks!
