Why do we like this?
Selmer makes music that helps you forget about life. I listen to Selmer after a long day of work (like today) when I need a break from the stresses of capitalism. I usually have elevator music playing in my head but today it's "All I Want."
Breezy surf pop is the way I'd describe Selmer's style. It's simple, easy listening reminiscent of artists like Far Caspian and Summer Salt; the artists that bring summer year around.
Selmer, aka Julian Karlsson, is based out of Oslo, Norway. His bio on Spotify says it all, "i'm a nice guy." He didn't even use capitalization. That's how nice and chill he is. Check out his music, including his previous 2019 release "Thinkin' Freely."
