Why do we like this?
Here's a delightful track from Japanese producer Seiho. It's "GOLD," not "Gold," and you'll quickly understand why (It might as well be "GOLLDDDDD!!!").
Past tracks of his have tested my tolerance for kitschy synths, but artists like him and Rustie or Sophie are proving this might be the sea-punk of rave. I had better get in on the joke.
All genre dropping aside, this song is brilliantly bizarre and frosted with trap interjections, reminding us that electronic trends skirt time ones. In fact, you might find yourself ejected into an orbital existence that has you forgetting about earthly, acoustic delights.
Here's hoping there's a dance floor in space.
