Sounds like:
Lindsay Lowend,
Dream Koala,
Summer Occasion,
Kendrick Lamar
Why do we like this?
I really enjoyed this first collaboration between London producer SeePM and L.A. rapper Broke. Apparently it's the first of two, but the other has yet to surface. They mention on the SoundCloud track that they "figured it's about time they got some ears around them," and I gotta say, I agree.
This a pretty short track, but only 14 seconds in and commenters on SoundCloud are admitting: "Already legendary." I love when Broke joins in; he's got some serious rapping skills that'll immediately remind you of old school quality.
This is a collaboration of the Nujabes/Cise Starr variety. Broke sounds pretty legendary himself, a child beat boxing prodigy who was apparently "a first round draft pick for the Cirque Du Soleil's B squad Beatbox clowns." I can't make that shit up. Yup, he sounds like a cool dude.
Overall, a great track from a pretty complimentary collaboration. SeePM also has another project with one of his friends called Jotora that's more of the experimental/electronic variety -- still some good beats. You should check out and download their free EP, Bohko. Broke can be found on flavors.me and has a free remixes tape sitting on Mediafire -- a legit link from his SoundCloud.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next track featuring SeePM + Broke.
