Sébastien Tellier's third album Sexuality was touched by the hand of a French god: Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk. It was the first time that Tellier had let someone else produce his album, and the choice turned out to be a wise one. The success of the album spawned a follow-up remix album that included work by Boyz Noize and Kavinski, among others.
Today's Song of the Day features one of these remixers: A-Trak. Montreal-born (but New York-based), A-Trak is wildly heralded as one of today's best DJs, winning the DMCs World DJ Championship in 1997 at the age of only 15, and working together with Kanye West as his personal tour DJ. Also interesting to note: his brother is the lead singer of Chromeo. That makes for one darn successful family, if you ask me.
