Why do we like this?

I came across Australian songstress Seavera (aka Tori Zietsch) about 2 years ago now. I think both our projects were doing the rounds on Australian national radio Triple J's 'Unearthed' platform, and I immediately fell inlove with her beautiful, spacey folk songs.

"Caving," from what I can tell, is her official debut, and gosh is it a beautiful piece of music.

After not hearing from her for a while, this electronic tinged track is the perfect re-introduction to Seavera. Haunting lyrics, soaring vocals and a gorgeous folky basis all combine to create a track which has a tangible power simmering just below the surface. Gorgeous!
