Why do we like this?

While we often feature upbeat indie songs, this one just couldn't help but draw me in. It's simple but haunting; perfectly sung and perfectly conveyed. Every time I listen to it I find myself slipping into a deeper and deeper state of relaxation.

While I've got you, the inspiration behind this song is worth a mention:

I read a story a few years ago about a Japanese man who lost his wife during the Tsunami back in 2011,” says Sean of the single. “He could not find her on land and decided to take diving lessons to search the sea. I was really moved by it and ‘A Thousand Hues’ was written soon after.
