Scott Is Okay takes us on an apocalyptic pop journey with "2042" — an indie electro revelation of foresight and preparation.

Melancholy pop is always a winner with me — the destructive joy of knowing the bad side and still doing the nice things. It's like having the mentality of 'the world's going to end, but we'll still get ice cream, the forests are burning and we might as well dance.' "2042" is a story about the bad things, but also a story about not letting them get to you. Just let it flow and dance in the chaos.

"2042" is the sad midnight track for the person on the top floor looking out, and it will always leave a smile.
