Why do we like this?

This track has been really tricky for me to pin down and it definitely took me more than one listen before deciding to review it. But I've decided that I really like it, and I think you will too!

This is SchulKid's debut track, and there's so much going on that I'm particularly intrigued to see what the future holds for this London producer.

Opening with bright strings and brilliantly soulful vocals courtesy of 19-year-old singer Valair, we're off to a great start. Next come the muted trumpets. Then the tribal-tropical beat. Oh, and in the middle of it all is a little electro breakdown, adding yet another completely different element.

Yep, all in one song.

Is there too much going on at once? Possibly. Does it totally work? Actually, yes.
