When this song first started I was kind of thinking "meh." Fortunately for SAVI MINDS I managed to make it to the 0:35 mark, where things change open up real nice.
The main hook of this song, for me, is the progression of the melody in the chorus. It sort of reminds me of Air mixed with RUFUS mixed with Men I Trust -- a particularly pleasant combination to the ear.
If you've made it to the end, chances are that one thing in particular stands out: there's a loud blip at the end of the song. When I asked the LA-based Mikale D’Andreaaka SAVI MINDS about it, he said: "The noise at the end is on purpose and part of the song. I like adding unexpected moments in my music, kind of like the ending of Left & Right in the Dark by Julian Casablancas."
