Why do we like this?
Savagery hits the heart and hits it true with "Void" — an addictive alt-rock/electro hybrid that had my mind spiraling.
"Void" is that feeling you get when you run down the stairs too fast, that exhilaration tinged with fear and apprehension. One wrong step and the party ends - but not to worry, because you have these smooth synths guiding every step, as the guitar whirls your legs from step to step, the bass keeps you balanced and the vocals guide you.
"Void" is a sprint and a spiral, but at no point is it not stylish and exciting.
