Why do we like this?
Dan Southward sometimes goes under the pseudonym Alexander John. I don't know why, but either way, both names create beautiful music.
"Lovin's For Fools" by Sarah Siskind has received the royal treatment when it comes to covers, with Bon Iver himself covering it - if that's not the biggest compliment ever, than I don't know what is!
A couple of years ago, Dan Southward came along and tried his hand at a cover, and personally I thought the results were pretty great.
The beautifully plaintive track is wrought with hurt and confusion, and Southward's lonely, warm vocal only serves to make this song more heart-wrenching.
