Why do we like this?
Sarah Blasko has got art pop down to a science. Depth of Field, her newest LP, is a shimmering collection of melancholy ballads marinated in drum tracks, strings, and power-house vocals.
"Never Let Me Go" is the third track off the record. Accompanied by a black and white music video that feels right out of the '50s, the Australian musician demonstrates her seductively old-school songwriting. But just wait for that sax to kick in. It's worth the wait.
