Emily Hamilton, aka San Mei, is a new female dream pop act gracing my ears today, and boy does she impress. "Brighter" is the debut single from this Gold Coast songstress, and it is a wondrous piece of bedroom pop that has to be shared.
The fact that this is her very first release is bewildering to me considering how complex her sound is. Behind the richly layered backdrop is a delicate, echoing voice that reaches into your soul and touches you with its sweet melodies.
Expect big things to come from San Mei, mark my words.
