Why do we like this?

Known more for her hard hitting emotional raps, Detroit hip-hop artist, Angel Haze, has shown her softer side with a remarkable cover of Sampha's "(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano."

Uploaded to her SoundCloud page alongside the caption, "On some Sampha sad girl shit," Haze shows her vulnerability with this outstanding cover.

Relying solely on her vocals to propel the song over the familiar light piano line, Haze again shows her versatility as an artist. Possessing a beautifully soothing voice that captures the essence of Sampha's original, Haze is able to showcase her own strengths as a singer, making the track her own.

As much as I'm a fan of Haze's rapping, if there are a couple of similar ballads to this on her upcoming new project, I for one will be extremely happy.
