Why do we like this?

Not too long ago, we posted about a new Samm Henshaw track, explaining why we love him so much here at Indie Shuffle. Today, the 21-year old returns with a new track off his debut EP The Sound Experiment, which will be released July 17. 

"Better" is a lovely ballad, and one of my favorite songs from the singer-songwriter thus far. The slowly building track works to an emotional climax, with Henshaw showcasing his soulful voice. It is the first sentence straight away that, in my opinion, summarizes the track's feeling perfectly.

This year is shaping up to be great for the Londoner, having already received mainstream radio support and with the release of this upcoming EP. Besides that, he will be touring with James Bay as supporting act!
