Why do we like this?

Sometimes a song comes along that forces you to stop what you're doing and just listen. And then play it again, and try to figure out what you just listened to.

Carlos Serrano just pulled it off on this mashup of Sam Smith's "Latch" and Lana Del Rey's "Pretty When You Cry." I'm not saying it's a perfect match: there are various notes of discord and the occasional "ehh" moment. But, as a whole...wowzer.
