Why do we like this?
There's something really infectious about this dance-worthy track by perky indie pop trio Sam and Raw.
Along with vocalist Beth Garret, the young Derbyshire outfit melds electronic elements with classic funky vibes for a fresh-faced take on an increasingly saturated genre. Having played music together from a young age, it wasn't until "Charmer" sparked the interest of BBC Introducing that the three-piece began to take their sound seriously.
Recently signed to NUB Country Records, an indie label "specializing in the weird and wonderful," their first EP, Charming, is set for release in the middle of March.
