Why do we like this?
I'm not entirely sure why, but I've been playing Salt Cathedral's "Move Along" nonstop this morning. There's something so mesmerizing about this Brooklyn quintet, and this latest single has absolutely wowed me with its intricate and expressive sense of pop, different than anything I've heard.
If I'm going to be completely honest, I think it kind of sounds like listening to a female version of Foals due to the precision held in their guitar lines. It does, however, possess a much more uplifting feel with the use of some rather airy percussion. Of course, having the heavenly vocals of Juliana at your disposal almost guarantees a brightening of one's day.
