Why do we like this?

Once again, I'm covering an Aussie artist for Hugh. And as is always the case, I'm totally cool with that: they seem to have good music genes down under (even from Canberra).

SAFIA's newest single "Embracing Me" got its first place a couple minutes ago courtesy of Triple J, and now we're bringing you the online premiere.

The single is an upbeat, future soul track that mixes tropical sounds with the latest in high-quality instrumentation and production (a la compatriot Hayden James).  The end result is one of my favorites to come out of their camp, and certainly worth a share.
