Why do we like this?

Vancouver's 1080p has spent the last year establishing a reputation as one of house music's most exciting and innovative new labels. 

Their latest is a release from Saffron entitled "Petra II," following up his Petra I EP. He's almost created his own genre on the EP, as 1080p have explained:

"Saffron’s hybridized genre builds include trip-hop, moody downtempo, sturdy walking-paced house and crunchy IDM with low key cinematics drifting throughout."

It's quite unlike anything we've heard, but its very, very good. Get a copy directly from 1080p here.
