Denmark-based producer Pete Oak puts his stamp on Saccao & Chemical Surf's "I'll Try," and it's as successful as the original.
Oak pulls it out of the deep with bright retro synths and changes the tone from good ol' deep house to something that's making me want to watch Attack the Block -- in other words, it gives one the feeling that "the chase is on."
Whatever you're running from this month, do it with gusto. Download Oak's remix of "I'll Try" on October 24, put it in your earbuds or whatever, and pretend like there's an alien invasion. When attempting to try at anything, especially tackling life's little obstacles, a little self-deception goes a long way.
