Why do we like this?

Mostly Junkfood are touting Ryn Weaver as the next big pop sensation -- and for some unexplained reason, that enticed me to give this song a listen.

Fortunately this isn't sugar-coated pop in the Katy Perry vein; rather, it takes a Florence Welch approach to new music -- something I find myself quite fond of.

Definitely keep an eye on this young American artist. Her last song "OctaHate" picked up a whopping 1.3M plays in its first month, so there's clearly something drawing the masses in.
