Why do we like this?

Ryan Vail is an artist who continually amazes me with his thought-provoking take on electronic music, and latest single "Wounds" is no different.

Taken from his forthcoming debut album For Every Silence, "Wounds" takes a minimalistic approach, engineering a soft, 80s archetype that allows Vail's hushed vocals space to impact.

The pulsating bass line provides the heartbeat for the chiming synths experimental soundscapes created, resulting in another absorbing electronic production from Vail.

For Every Silence is set for a March 25 release.
