Why do we like this?

I've been a champion of Ryan Vail's for a long time now, and with previous single "Wounds" garnering great acclaim, I'm stoked he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. 

A musician and composer, Vail intersects the worlds of electronic and modern classical music, creating highly unique and calming soundscapes.

With his debut album, For Every Silence, set for release tomorrow, Vail has offered one final single for fans to digest. "Mirrors" continues Vail's minimalistic approach to music, with his now familiar haunting baritone joined by his wife Katie's hushed harmonies over a heartbeat-like beat and soft synth production. Absolutely breathtaking.
