Why do we like this?
Few tracks hit you with such emotional depth as L.A.-based Australian musician RY X's "Berlin." A mixture of Bon Iver and fellow Aussie Matt Corby, "Berlin" is sparse, introspective folk with a deep emotional pull. Backed only by his searching acoustic guitar, RY X's yearning vocals and Corby-esque "woos" fill the void left by the lack of instrumentation, conjuring a magical piece of musical perfection that you won't soon forget.

Signed to Magnus Bohman's (founder of Imperial Recordings, Jose Gonzalez's original Swedish label) new label Dumont Dumont,  the breathtakingly beautiful "Berlin" will be released digitally and on vinyl this August 28.
