Why do we like this?
A couple days back, LCAW uploaded this track to SoundCloud with the title "LCAW x Ruu Campbell." Naturally, that led me to believe he'd collaborated with the UK-based artist on the track.
Turns out that was a slightly misleading title: this is, in fact, a remix of a 2013 track released by Ruu Campbell. And so, I'm going to go a bit against the grain here on my titling, and assert it as such.
That's not to detract from LCAW though: his tropical disco touch has added a much-needed energy to the folksy original, and in doing so has earned itself a feature on the website.
