Why do we like this?
Getting the chance to hear Rage Against The Machine frontman Zach de la Rocha on any form of track is awesome news, but the fact he's collaborated with Run The Jewels is like all my Christmas dreams at once.
"Close your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)" is the third single from rap duo Run The Jewels' forthcoming sophomore effort, and in my humble opinion, the best effort yet.
Both EL-P and Killer Mike deliver aggressive verses, but it's de la Rocha's politically charged final stanza that hits home, being one of the best raps he's delivered in years.
Hard, assailing, and in-your-face, this is what Run The Jewels is all about.
