Sydney's RÜFÜS DU SOL is on fire lately. First they remix Odesza, then What So Not remixes them, and finally, Louis Futon steps up to remix "You Were Right." I have no clue what's next for them, but if I'm judging off of their last few moves, whatever it is will be dope.
As I sit in my office, with Postmates swerving through to deliver me some fresh pressed juice — hold up, that may be the most L.A. thing I've ever said or wrote — I bump this track, ever so loudly, and I'm absolutely blown away by the attention to detail Louis Futon put into this.
The subtleties of percussion in the background, the slight twists of reverbs and delays, and everything about this track is phenomenal, and hopefully will pair well with my coconut carrot juice.
