Why do we like this?

Wowowowowoww. Los Angeles' Lex Famous just did a number on Australia's RÜFÜS DU SOL with her remix of "Desert Nights." Sultry vocals from the remixer herself take this interpretation to a new level, bringing a new life and perspective to an otherwise year old track.

The female vocals, dripping with casual lust, soar over the smooth melody. More that a remix -- this should really be classified as a cover -- Lex Famous draws a serene picture with RÜFÜS DU SOL's electronic dance original.  If this is what the L.A. native is capable of, I'm ready and waiting for more from this songstress.
