Why do we like this?

Take the red pill and wake up in Ruby Wonderland!

Swedish indie pop band Ruby Empress released this week their debut single "Deluca," an easy going track that grows more and more powerful, ending in a very Kevin Parker-esque tidal wave.

According to band singer Tom Serner,

"Deluca was meant to be about a relationship. [...] In hindsight, it turned out as a song about struggling with the Scandinavian weather."

"Deluca" is out now on Parisian label Yunizon Records. Ruby Empress' first EP will be released in June.
