Why do we like this?
Sydney-based duo, Royel Otis, has done it again with new single, "Adored." It's always exciting when you find a song that you instantly know will be on repeat. These two have been on fire with the releases this year. In March, they released Sofa Kings via House Anxiety / Ourness Records.
"Adored" is giving post-punk/new wave sounds with punchy guitar and drum patterns plus the classic, airy, cool-guy-esque vocal style. It has that balanced mix of feel good indie and edginess, so you can listen to it if you're a tech dude going to his job or a hipster in a Sonic Youth t-shirt. Talk about appealing to the masses.
