Why do we like this?
So San Francisco turned New York-based band Royal Baths dropped "Darling Divine" earlier this month, but I just got around to listening to it. I'm kinda bummed I didn't listen sooner, because this track is chock full of psychedelic, garage-infused indie rock. Lately, I feel like all I've been listening to are best of playlists featuring the top remixes of 2011, so this was a nice change of pace.
The track is off of their upcoming LP Better Luck Next Life, due out in February 2012.
Now, don't get confused. Royal Baths' track "Darling Divine" has nothing to do with Wild Child's "Darling Divine" (featured on our recent best of indie rock in 2011 playlist). They're just two very different songs -- both awesome in their own way -- with the same name.
