UK's Rounds has given us the perfect cold-weather track to add some luminescence to the somber month of February.
Drawing inspiration from minimal electronic artists from the likes of Four Tet and Burial, "Falter" captures an ethereal spirit with delicate reverberation and hints of Caribou-esque beat-building. Its visceral nature makes the song introspective and rather dreamy, but it also crosses genres from experimental bass to deep house rhythms, which always puts a smile on my face.
Falter EP is available now via Blind Colour.
