Joyous Journey Spaceman

With the crazy news of synth-wave and electronica duo, Daft Punk, having blown out the torch, I wasn't expecting anything to fill my synth-wave needs anytime soon. Especially not within the context of the pop sounds I was so used to from Daft Punk. That was until this little fluctuating gem of a song came my way.

This flagship single from Roosevelt's latest album, Polydans, pays homage to the romantic sounds of pop electronica — light cotton candy beats mixed into a galactic soundscape of a festival in space. "Lovers" made me feel like an astronaut with a streaming service straight to an electronica festival.

I love me some joyous space tracks and this has truly filled the galactic gap in my heart for it!
