Why do we like this?

This one's a dark, slow-building electronic track from one of my favorite French producers Rone. I've listened to it about ten times now, and every single time it manages to sweep me away in a sort of dream-like state.

The accompanying music video just hammers that home: a frenzied Haitian ritual that seems generally upbeat and happy, but is transformed into a freakish nightmare scene by the accompanying music. It's super intense.

"Nouveau Monde" will feature on Rone's new album Room with a View.
