Why do we like this?

From the first guitar riff, I was pretty much sold on this modern funk and soul jam.

Ron Littlejohn & The Funk Embassy certainly bring the funk on their single "Seems Like Yesterday." The soulful vocals blaze through the speakers while the classically composed instrumentals keep decade's past genres alive. There are tinges of modernization within this song but the majority of this track holds true to its roots.
