I guess the saddest part about the internet is occasionally watching things you love get swallowed up by the massive noise of everything. That's especially true of a great artist I used to listen to, Jay Bharadia (of no relation to Romare).
Roughly ten years ago I first heard his music (Bharadia's). There was a song in particular that stood out to me, "Day Of Two Noons." Romare's "Home," and his album of the same name, kinda remind me of Jay's music, so in order to understand my love for Romare's latest album, you need to know about Jay.
What happened to such a promising musician? Did life just get in the way? Or was it the internet? And, could I have done more, as a blogger to promote him?
I should actually give that song it's own review, and then only write about Romare in it (stay tuned, because I will), but for now, I'm going to appreciate the things in life that might not be in front of me anymore in ten years time, like breathable oxygen.
NB: I found "Day of Two Noons" for free download.
