Why do we like this?

It's an absolutely beautiful day today in Cape Town. And on top of that, I just discovered I might still be a South African citizen (or at the very least eligible for permanent residence).

So, I figured that was enough inspiration to feature Rodriguez in the Song of the Day slot. Of course he isn't South African per se, but whenever I'd tell people in the States that I was South African, they'd inevitably bring up Searching For Sugar Man. It seems that -- outside of this country at least -- his Bob Dylan-esque sound has become one widely associated with Africa's southern-most continent.

On that note, I'm headed to a pool party :)
