Why do we like this?

Kings Of Leon covering Robyn sounds like a bad joke, but the Tennessee foursome actually get the job done with their take on "Dancing On My Own." Recently playing BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, the lads previewed new material as well as this heartfelt cover.

Caleb nails the emotional pull of Robyn's original, with his Southern swagger sounding fresher than ever, while the rest of the band provide able support.

Whether their forthcoming album, Mechanical Bull, can re-capture the grittiness of their early work combined with the commercial appeal of Only By The Night remains to be seen, this excellent version of "Dancing On My Own" should keep fans of KOL happy in the meantime.
