Sleepy, but chock full of R&B laced grooves, Robotaki's "Right Time" is an epic, swooping tune.
Luring us into his idyllic, starry eyed soundscape with warmth and cozy harmonics, Robotaki's latest featuring vocalist Ari is an underestimated banger that creeps in like a malevolent spirit.
It captures the early evening, lounge-ready electronic vibe we used to see in early Kaytranada... up until the two minute mark. Then, the vibe turns up into side chained synth stabs and grandiose feels delivering on a darkness which dwelled just under the surface until the break.
It's almost like a gift we never knew we actually wanted until it's in our possession; a nice surprise, out of left field.
