Guilty pleasure? Maybe.
I'm typically not a fan of over-processed vocals, and in this case Robert Lilly hasn't left much in its original form. And yet something about the overall tempo and progress of the song keeps me hooked and engaged.
The US artist is gearing up to release his debut album NEVER FAMOUS, set for release in mid-2021. You'll find "Friend of a Friend" as one of those songs. Given his SoundCloud is full of some pretty crazy mashups, I'm not exactly sure what direciton the overall release will go. Needless to say it'll be interesting :)
