This track is so far from my usual postings that I was only able to come up with one artist that I'm familiar with for who it sounds like. It reminds me of a Daniel Norgren album that I was only recently introduced to, and I feel that my heart and ears are possibly moving out west.
It's funny how musical trends sort of move without anyone really telling them to. Tame Impala, Friendly Fires, and a cast of other alternative rock bands are buckling down on disco-friendly sounds. Now, disco has been around forever, so they're not pioneering it, but the resurgence has been noticeable.
My bet is this blues rock sound is going to come creeping into the spotlight again, and Robert Connely Farr & The Rebeltone Boys are poised to be God-worshipped quadrillionaires when that happens.
