Why do we like this?

Today I bring you the Robby Hunter Band, a three-piece group of guys based out of Miami, Florida creating totally awesome music. Originally a one-piece-band setup, Robby Hunter used to play the sun drenched streets of Miami until he grouped up with Pat Howard (drums) and John Couglin (bass) to create this insanely dynamic and soul ridden band that delivers soul, hip-hop, and funk all at once. 

"Corazón" shows just how multi-faceted these guys are. It starts off with a catchy beat that then transcends into something that reminds of an Atmosphere track. Once it hits the chorus, it melts into a super groovy cloud of sunshine and summer vibes. It's indie funk, and I'm loving it. 

Magic City Hippies was released July of last year but the album is made for the beach and late summer nights. They have it available for streaming here. Happy grooving.
