You may or may not have noticed L.A.-based up-and-comers RKCB all over blogs recently. Either way, this here track will make your ears prick up! Their latest single "Elevated" has just received some of the best remix treatments I have heard for a while, which you can listen to through the remix playlist on SoundCloud.
Nikö Blank then comes sauntering in, and takes the track on a banging, Flume-esque meander which will have you head-banging along the entire time. The effortlessly good remix is the latest in a line of consistently excellent outputs from the producer, who it appears only started uploading sonic goodness to his SoundCloud account 5 months ago.
He has amassed an impressive number of plays since then, marrying intense future bass drops mix seamlessly alongside a passionate and soothing R&B influence.
I very rarely tend to cover remixes, but when I do I really enjoy them, and genuinely can't wait to hear more from the mysterious Nikö Blank.
