Why do we like this?

Rivka is a rising Annapolis, Maryland-based talent. "Can't Go Back" is her latest tune. It's about new beginnings and finding art in rediscovery. It's an emotionally wrought song, and I think you all will dig it! 

The track's simple guitar and gentle lyrics betray a deep hurt. "When you touch me/ it's too real." Aimee Mann eat your heart out. 

The song is about capturing the dark emotions that boil up after a relationship falls apart -- particularly a seemingly picture perfect romance. It also perfectly captures what it feels like to be a broken hearted girl in Maryland (specifically Maryland with that sound) with makeup smeared. 

"Can't Go Back" was co-produced by Jamie Walters and Charles Kavoossi.
