Melbourne creative Raudie McLeod is no stranger to Indie Shuffle; a couple of his previous musical works have been featured here over the past year. I use the word "creative" especially with McLeod, who recently launched a very special project under the name River Yarra.
Using a combination of two mediums (art and music), he has been "trying to understand the emotional complexities of dance music." His findings are available in the form of the recently released EP Rain Dance Extended Play & Vision.
"The Look" premiered on Indie Shuffle back in September, and we now turn our attention toward "Moonlight Disco." This is another lengthy soundscape, and River Yarra once again showcases his ability to create a mood through varied forms of electronica. Listeners will sink into this, a fantastic track to really get drawn away with.
Because of the importance of the artwork, fans will only be able obtain the music with the purchase of the artwork (for a limited amount of time). The prints will be interchangeable within a black vinyl-less 12" sleeve, and can be purchased here.
