Why do we like this?

Simple string work, pulsating rhythm and beautiful vocals. It's a recipe that can oftentimes come across as thoroughly boring, but not in this case.

"Rabbit Hole" was recently released on American duo Riothorse's debut EP The Guest House, available to stream on their website. The song is simple, but the harmony between the two singers manages to evoke an emotive and visceral feel that reminds me a lot of Wye Oak and/or Warpaint.
