Why do we like this?

Here's the skinny: Rio Rio is an indie rock quintet out of  San Francisco. They are new to the scene, but show a lot of promise with the beautiful instrumental "Orange and Red." It's lush California rock with a Teen Daze twist. I highly recommend adding that track to all your playlists.

Up in the Shuffle we've got "Gorilla Gorilla," also an entrancing song. I want to call it indie rocktronica. I love what they did there at the end. This is only the beginning for Rio Rio. They will be performing and releasing their first EP at Three Parkside in San Francisco on April 19. If you are in the area be sure to check it out.
